All Seven Cores

Risk Shield

Cross-Core Protection

Protection before restriction.

Risk Shield evaluates sensitive payments, withdrawals, account changes, card actions, crypto transfers, investments, deals, and AI-agent activity before execution. It combines product context, user behavior, verification status, destination data, fraud signals, compliance policies, and partner restrictions to select the least disruptive safe response.

Intervention Ladder — Least Disruptive First

  1. 01Allow
  2. 02Inform
  3. 03Warn
  4. 04Verify
  5. 05Request
  6. 06Delay
  7. 07Review
  8. 08Block

Mandatory legal restrictions remain separately controlled and are never treated as ordinary product warnings.

Core Principle

The Least Disruptive Safe Response

Blocking is the last option, not the default. Risk Shield is designed to help users correct missing information, recognize dangerous situations, and avoid preventable payment failures or account restrictions — escalating only as far as the situation requires.

Operating Model

How Risk Shield Works

The same sequence underneath every product that uses this Core.

  1. Sensitive Action Enters

A payment, withdrawal, card action, crypto transfer, investment, deal step, account change, or agent action is submitted.

  2. Context Is Evaluated

Product context, user behavior, verification status, destination data, fraud signals, compliance policies, and partner restrictions are assessed together.

  3. Proportionate Intervention Is Selected

The least disruptive safe response is chosen — from allowing the action through to informing, warning, verifying, requesting, delaying, reviewing, or blocking.

  4. Action Is Executed, Reviewed, Or Restricted

The outcome is applied and recorded with an audit-ready decision history that the product and its partners can rely on.

Partner And Regulatory Boundary

Where FinDech Stops And Partners Begin

Risk Shield is a product-safety and intervention layer. It does not replace the regulated compliance obligations of partners, and it is not designed to help anyone avoid monitoring, screening, or legal restrictions. Mandatory legal restrictions are controlled separately from ordinary product warnings, and regulated decisions remain with appropriately authorized entities.
